Yuhsin Galaxy Su was born in Taipei and has performed as a clarinetist and a pianist on stages throughout the world. She is a laureate of the HSNU Concerto Competition, the International Morningside Music Bridge Concerto Competition and the Young Classical Virtuoso of Tomorrow Competition. She studied at the Curtis Institute of Music where she was fully involved in performance projects at the Kimmel Center, Columbia University, the Kennedy Center and the Curtis Field Recital Hall. She has also participated in the International Clarinet Association Festival and the Beijing International Clarinet Festival. Yushin currently studies with Anthony McGill, Principal Clarinet of the New York Philharmonic and she was recently chosen as member of the Pacific Music Festival Academy of 2019.
