Yaejin Lee studied at the Seoul Arts High School, at the Seoul National University with Hyeri Yoon and at the Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe, where she remains a student in the soloists’ class under Pirmin Grehl. She has performed as a concerto soloist with the Göttinger Symphony Orchestra and held an academy position at the Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz. Since 2020 she has been a member of the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie. Yaejin is a laureate of the Dino Ciani International Flute Competition (First Prize), the Seoul National University Competition (First Prize), the International Friedrich Kuhlau Flute Competition (Special Prize) and the KBS KEPCO Music Competition (Second Prize).
