Víctor Díaz Guerra (22, Spain)

Spanish clarinetist Víctor Díaz Guerra has appeared as a soloist with orchestras including the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Extremadura Youth Orchestra and the Poway Symphony Orchestra. He has been awarded First Prize at competitions in Spain and beyond, including the Competitions of the International Clarinet Association, the European Clarinet Association and the Pasadena Showcase. Víctor has performed for the Spanish monarchy, has worked with conductors including Michael Tilson Thomas, Valery Gergiev, Stéphane Denève, Matthias Pintscher, Ludovic Morlot and James Conlon and has appeared with the Colburn Symphony Orchestra, Extremadura Symphony Orchestra, European Union Youth Wind Orchestra and the Extremadura Youth Orchestra. He studied at the Escola Superior de Música, Artes e Espectáculo in Porto and continues his studies at The Colburn School in Los Angeles.
