
Sung Hue Kim was born in Seoul in Korea, and graduated from the Seoul Arts High School. She lived in Japan for seven years between the ages of seven and 14. Following her studies in the Far East, Sung Hue was awarded a place at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin where she is a flute student of Professor Benoît Fromanger. She has won a number of flute competitions in her native Korea and has worked as a flautist with orchestras in Europe and Asia, including the Euroasian Orchestra, the Berliner Camerata, the Neue Philharmonie Berlin and the Berlin Youth Orchestra. She has appeared as a concerto soloist with the Euroasian Orchestra.
