
Sirius Chau was born in Hong Kong and graduated with distinction from the Masters course of the Royal College of Music in London where he studied with Katie Bedford and Sue Thomas. He is currently the Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Scholar at the RCM where he is studying for an Artist’s Diploma. He has been a prizewinner at the Eastbourne Symphony Orchestra Young Soloists Competition, the RCM Concerto and Solo Woodwind Competitions and the Westbourne Orchestra Concerto Competition. He was the Alain-Marion Scholarship holder at the Domaine Forget International Music Academy in Canada where he studied privately with Emmanuel Pahud, Mathieu Dufour, Philippe Bernold and Ulla Miilmann. Sirius has appeared as a member of the Orchestra of English National Opera, the City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong and Young Musicians Symphony Orchestra.
