
Seat Byeol Choi began her studies at the Central Prokofiev Music School in Vladivostok with Zinaida Bespalova before enrolling at the Central Music School of the Moscow Conservatory where she was a student of Eduard Grach. She currently studies at the Haute École de Musique de Geneva with Sergey Ostrovsky. Seat has appeared as a soloist with L’orchestre de Music des Lumières and given performances at the Opera House in Tel Aviv and at the Muziekgebouw in Eindhoven. She is a laureate of the Il Piccolo Violino Magico International Competition for Young Violinists (First Prize), the Concours d’interprétation musical de Lausanne (Second Prize), the Kloster Schöntal International Violin Competition (First Prize, Special Prize) and the Violin of the North Competition in Yakutsk (First Prize, Tchaikovsky Prize).
