Sarah Jégou-Sageman (23)

Sarah Jégou-Sageman is a student of Mihaela Martin at the Barenboim-Saïd Akademie in Berlin. She previously studied at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris with Boris Garlitsky and Philippe Graffin and with Larissa Kolos, and has received instruction and master-classes from musicians including Daniel Barenboim, Leonidas Kavakos, François Salque and Krzysztof Chorzelski. Sarah has appeared as a soloist and as a chamber musician, in which field her partners have included her aunt Caroline Sageman and members of the Ozawa and Barenboim-Saïd Academies. She has considerable experience as a member of professional orchestras in Paris and Berlin. She is a laureate of the Marie Cantagrill International Violin Competition  (Second Prize).
