Noah Bendix-Balgley

Noah Bendix-Balgley is First Concertmaster of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, which he has directed from the violin, as well as a renowned soloist and chamber musician. As a soloist, recent and forthcoming highlights include appearances with the Orchestre Symphonique de Qu├ębec, Buffalo Philharmonic, NHK Symphony Orchestra, Kammerakademie Potsdam, Verbier Festival Orchestra, Shanghai Symphony Orchestra and Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra. He has performed his own klezmer violin concerto Fidl-Fantazye with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and China Philharmonic. As a chamber musician, Noah performs in a trio with Robert Levin and Peter Wiley and with Philharmonix, the multi-genre septet drawn from the Berlin and Vienna Philharmonic Orchestras. He is a renowned performer of traditional klezmer music.
