Maura Marinucci currently occupies the principal clarinet chair at the Brussels Philharmonic. She has played as a guest principal with orchestras including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Philharmonia Orchestra, L’Orchestre Symphonique de La Monnaie in Brussels, the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, the Orchestra of Welsh National Opera and the Orchestra of the Rome Opera. Since 2021 she has taught at the Conservatorio Guido Cantelli of Novaro in Italy, and has also given master-classes at the Royal Brussels Conservatory. Maura studied at the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana, at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia and at the Conservatorio Pescara. She is a laureate of the Fiorindo International Clarinet Competition (2016) and the Carlino International Clarinet Competition (2006) and is a Henri Selmer Artist.
