Marie-Astrid Hulot (21, France)

Marie-Astrid Hulot won the Premier Prix at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse in Paris. She continued her studies in Cologne and at Kronberg Academy in Mihaela Martin’s postgraduate class. She participated in the Seiji Ozawa Academy in Rolle in 2013 and 2018, where she studied with professors Nobuko Imai, Pamela Frank and Sadao Harada, and in the Bach Competition in Leipzig in 2014. Marie-Astrid won Second Prize at the Dominique Peccatte International Violin Competition in 2016. She has appeared as a soloist with the Armenian Chamber Orchestra and the CNSMDP’s orchestra and has been concertmaster of the French Youth Orchestra conducted by David Zinman and Denis Russell Davies in repertoire including Mahler’s Symphony No 4. She has appeared at the Konzerthaus in Berlin and at the Philharmonie de Paris.
