Maël Marcon (25)

Maël Marcon currently occupies the principal flute chair of the Opéra Orchestre National Montpellier Occitanie. He has played with the Orchestre National de Cannes, Ensemble Intercontemporain, the Orchestre National de France and others. He studied at the Conservatoires of Marseille, Puy en Velay, Lyon

and Rueil-Malmaison before enrolling at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris where he studies in the class of Sophie Cherrier and Vincent Lucas. Maël’s other teachers have included Sonia Sauve and Pascale Feuvrier.
