
Lior Yoahimik was born in Chicago and now resides in Tel Aviv, where he studies with Yevgeny Yehudin at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music. As a member of the David Goldman Programme for Outstanding Young Musicians, he has performed at the Felicia Blumental Music Centre in Tel-Aviv, at the Henry Crown Hall in Jerusalem and at the Jerusalem Music Centre. Lior is a member of Ensemble Finale, with which he regularly performs music for clarinet and strings. He has participated in master-classes with Charles Neidich, Nicholas Baldeyrou, Anthony McGill and François Benda, among others. He has appeared with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra and Israel Contemporary Players, and has received top-three positions at competitions including the Israel National Wind Competition, the Paul Ben Haim Competition, the Buchmann-Mehta School Competition and Clarinet International Workshop Competition.
