Li-Ling Lee was born in Taiwan. She is a laureate of international competitions including the Picardie Competition (First Prize), the European Competition ClariSax Valenciennes, the International Buffet Competition in Taiwan (First Prize), the Taiwan Clarinet Competition (First Prize) and the Taipei Symphony Orchestra Young Artist Concerto Competition. She is currently a postgraduate student at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Lyon with Professors Nicolas Baldeyrou and Frank Amet. Previously, she studied at the Regional Conservatory of Rueil-Malmaison with Professor Florent Héau. Li-Ling is an active recitalist, concerto soloist and orchestral and chamber musician. She has performed with the Lyon Opera Orchestra, Lyon Chamber Orchestras and the Radio France Philharmonic Orchestra. With the Taipei Symphony Orchestra, she has performed Carl Maria von Weber’s Clarinet Concerto Op 74.
