Kyumin Park (22, South Korea)

Kyumin Park is pursuing his Bachelor of music at the New England Conservatory under Donald Weilerstein. He won Second Prize at the International Music Competition of Harbin, China and Third Prize at the Klein International Competition in San Francisco. He is a winner of the Thomas and Evon Cooper International Violin Competition, Oberlin, where he played with The Cleveland Orchestra. Kyumin made his solo concert debut at the Kumho Prodigy Concert series in Seoul. He has given several recitals for the Holland Music Festival and chamber music performances at the Kneisel Hall Festival. He has appeared as a soloist with The Cleveland Orchestra, the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra, the Korean Symphony Orchestra and the Euro-Asian Philharmonic Orchestra in concertos by Shostakovich, Mendelssohn and Tchaikovsky.
