Kunwha Lee (25, South Korea)

Kunwha Lee made her debut at a Kumho Prodigy Concert in Korea at the age of 12. Since then she has appeared at concert halls throughout Korea and Europe, and is a laureate of a number of Korean competitions. She has been a prizewinner at the Michael Hill and Mirecourt International Competitions and currently studies with Professor Mikyung Lee at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich. She has appeared as a concerto soloist with the Daegu Philharmonic, the Kyungbuk Philharmonic, the Busan Philharmonic and the Bad Reichenball Philharmonic Orchestras as well as the Yewon Orchestra and the Seoul Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra. Her concerto repertoire includes concertos by Mozart, Mendelssohn, Vieuxtemps, Tchaikovsky and Sibelius.
