Karin Tufvesson Hjörne has worked with classical music since 1981, when she started working in the information department at the Gothenburg Concert Hall. After a few years she continued to work at the then leading Scandinavian artist and orchestra agency Henrik F. Lodding, followed by project managing a big Nordic cross-cultural festival, only to return to Gothenburg Concert Hall once again – this time as Artistic Planning Manager, and today as Artistic Advisor of the renowned Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra. Karin has played the flute, guitar and piano and sung in renaissance ensembles as well as the Gothenburg Symphony Choir, and as both choir member and occasionally soloist in various operas.
