Karen Su is currently an artist-in-residence at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in Brussels where she is mentored by Augustin Dumay and has been taught previously by Vesna Gruppman and Igor Gruppman. She has appeared as a concerto soloist with the Trondheim Symphony Orchestra, the Sinfonia Rotterdam, the Fujian Symphony Orchestra, the Kiev Radio Orchestra, the Orquesta Filarmónica de Boca del Río and at the Gergiev Festival in Rotterdam and the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel. She is a laureate of the Lipizer International Violin Competition (First Prize) and reached the finals of the 2021 Princess Astrid International Violin Competition. As a chamber musician, Karen is coached by the pianist Jean-Bernard Pommier. She frequently collaborates with musicians including Augustin Dumay, Gary Hoffman, Jean–Claude Vanden Eynden and Lorenzo Gatto.
