Gaia Bergamaschi began her studies at the Lucio Campiani Conservatory in Mantova and is currently a postgraduate student of Mario Caroli at Hochschule für Musik Freiburg. She has appeared with orchestras including the Mannheimer Philharmoniker, Philharmonisches Orchester Freiburg, Holst Sinfonietta and Mantova Chamber Orchestra and has appeared as a concerto soloist with the orchestra of the Teatro Sociale, Mantova. Gaia has been an academy musician with the Göttinger Symphony Orchestra and Vogtland Philharmonie Greiz-Reichenbach. She was a semifinalist at the Cluj International Music Competition and is a laureate of the Euroflute Solo Competition (Second Prize) and the Emanuele Krakamp International Flute Competition (Second Prize).
