
Federico Altare studied at the Accademia Musicale Chigiana Siena, the Conservatorio Guido Cantelli di Novara and at Codarts University of the Arts in Rotterdam and is currently a student at the Conservatoire Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris. As an academy musician with the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra he made numerous appearances at De Doelen and at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, including as soloist and conductor in a performance of Vivaldi flute concertos and a performance of the Flute Concerto No 2 by André Jolivet. Federico was a guest artist at the 2021 Storioni Festival in Eindhoven and is a laureate of the Grachtenfestival Conservatorium Competition (Finalist) and the Grote Chamber Music Prize (Finalist).
