Elias David Moncado studied at the Hochschule für Musik Freiburg, the Univerität der Künste Berlin, the Interlaken Academy and at the Mozarteum in Salzburg where he remains a student under Pierre Amoyal. Elias has appeared as a soloist with the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Freiburg Philharmonic Orchestra and the Deutsches Kammerorchester Berlin, with which he made his debut at the age of twelve at the Philharmonie. Elias is the youngest winner of the First Prize at the Karol Lipiński International Violin Competition and is a laureate of the Sendai International Violin Competition, the International Louis Spohr Competition for Young Violinists and the Concours International de musique de l’Orchestre Philharmonique du Maroc. His debut recording is released by Avi-Music in April 2022.
