
Diren Duran currently studies with Michael Faust at the Hochschule für Musik Robert Schumann in Düsseldorf. She holds an academy position with the Sinfonieorchester Wuppertal and has been a scholarship holder of the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes since 2019. She has appeared in concert with the Sinfonieorchester Wuppertal at the Stadhalle Wuppertal and Opera Leverkusen, broadcast a solo recital live on WDR3, given a solo recital at he Schumann-Saal in Düsseldorf and played at the Elbphilharmonie with the Junge Norddeutsche Philharmonie. Diren is a laureate of the Sieghardt Rometsch Competition (Third Prize) and in 2018 received the special prize of the Berthold Hummel Foundation for the best interpretation of a modern work. She has participated in the master-classes with Andrea Lieberknecht, Michael Martin Kofler, Patrick Gallois and Barthold Kuijken.
