Belle Ting (18, Canada)

Since 2011 Belle Ting has been a student at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna under Professors Dora Schwarzberg and Lucia Hall. She has won the Grand Prize in the International Arthur Grumiaux Violin Competition, First Prize in the International Cooper Violin Competition and three prizes at the International Johannes Brahms Competition including the Special Prize for Outstanding Interpretation of a Work by Brahms. In July 2018, she was selected to perform in the Verbier Festival as part of the Verbier Festival Academy, and the following month she became the youngest finalist in the International Isaac Stern Violin Competition in Shanghai. She has performed with the Cleveland Orchestra, the Polish Baltic Philharmonic Gdansk, the Moscow State Philharmonic Orchestra, the Talich Philharmonia and the INSO-Lviv.
