Anna Egholm has performed as a soloist with the Danish National Symphony Orchestra, the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra and the Malmö Symphony Orchestra and has taken part in many master-classes with leading violinists. After two years of studies at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen with Alexandre Zapolski, Anna moved to Switzerland in 2016 to study with Svetlana Makarova at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Lausanne. She has won numerous Danish and Nordic competitions including the Jacob Gade Violin Competition, De Unges Konsert, Øresund Solist and Berlingske Tidendes Music Competition. She was awarded First Prize and the Audience Award at the international violin competition Ginette Neveu in Avignon in 2017, and the following year was a prizewinner at the Marie Cantagrill and the Ysaÿe Competitions in France and Belgium respectively.
