Andrzej Ciepliński graduated with distinction from the clarinet class of Professor Arkadiusz Adamski at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music Katowice, where he was awarded the honorary title Primus Inter Pares. He currently studies at the Hochschule für Musik in Basel with François Benda. Andrzej has appeared as a soloist with the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra Katowice, the Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra Warsaw, the Opole and Lviv Philharmonic Orchestras, the Slovak Sinfonietta and the Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra. He has received the Polish Radio’s New Talent Prize, was First Prize winner at the Clarinet Competition in Włoszakowice and won the Grand Prix at the International Wind Instrument Competition in Warsaw. Other awards and scholarships include the Minister of Culture and National Heritage’s Scholarship for artistic achievements.
