Andrea Caputo (22, Italy)

After graduating from the Conservatorio San Pietro a Majella in Naples, Andrea Caputo was admitted to the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome where he studied under Professor Alessandro Carbonare. He later continued his studies at the Mozarteum in Salzburg with Professor Wenzel Fuchs. He is a laureate of the Giacomo Mensi Competition and the Crescendo Competition Florence. Andrea has sat in the Principal Clarinet chair of the Orchestra of the Petruzzelli Theatre, the Philharmonie Salzburg, the South Chamber Orchestra, the Schwäbisches Chamber Orchestra and Das Sinfonie Orchester and has performed at the Philharmonie in Berlin and the Großes Festspielhaus in Salzburg, the latter during a performance broadcast live on Austrian broadcaster ORF. He has appeared as a soloist with the South Chamber Orchestra and the Naples Chamber Orchestra.
