Alexey Stychkin (21)

Alexey Stychkin studied at the Central Music School of the Moscow Conservatory, at the Royal Conservatory in Liège and at the Lichtenstein Music Academy. His teachers have included Eduard Grach, Pavel Vernikov, Mihaela Martin, Ivry Gitlis and Marc Bouchkov. He has appeared as a soloist with the Russian Philharmonic at the House of Music in Moscow and with the Orchestra of the Moscow Conservatory in its Grand Hall. Alexey is an experienced orchestral leader and has led the Klassische Philahrmonie Bonn on tour as its concertmaster. He has given a solo performance for Her Majesty Queen Mathilde of Belguim and is a laureate of the Postacchini Competition (Special Prize), the Tchaikovsky Competition for Young Performers (Third Prize) and the Henri Vieuxtemps Competition (Third Prize and Audience Prize).
